A whole new way to race
The Jetta TDI Cup is entering into its third season, pitting 25 amateur racers against each other. For the first time, the last race will be held in Mexico. Featuring Volkswagen’s squeaky-clean TDI engine, this is the first racing series designed to be green. Last season, three Canadians made it through the qualifiers. Who will make it this year? Stay tuned, the race starts April 23.

Golf GTI named 2010 Canadian Car of the Year
2010 is a great year for Volkswagen so far, with our vehicles wining 14 major awards. These include the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada’s (AJAC) Best New Family Car under $30,000 (2010 Golf Wagon), and AJAC’s Canadian Car of the Year (2010 Golf GTI). And with a podium sweep at the Dakar, the world’s toughest rally, Volkswagen has once again really proven itself both on road and off.

Using recycled storm water and equipped with a smart ventilation system among other new green technologies, this state-of-the-art facility will change the way cars are made, and change the way you feel about driving them.
